In today’s post, I interview the intelligent and talented Olle Linge. To find out more about Olle and his journey with Chinese, check out my latest article on my new website here!
It’s been a great journey here on LifeasaforeignerinTaiwan, but alas, it is time to move on and focus on my main site, EazyChinese.com. At this point, it seems a little silly running back and forth, to let you guys know when my new articles are up, so I just wanted to inform everyone that from now on, my new content will be exclusively posted on EazyChinese.com, so make sure that you join my mail-listso you’ll get a heads up whenever I’ve got something coming your way!
Thanks for all of your support, and I hope to see you guys over at my new e-home! until next time…
Thanks for being patient everyone, this is just a quick reminder to let everyone know that the content for Lesson 6: Discussing Likes and Dislikes has all been uploaded and just waiting to be viewed. Also, make sure to check in tomorrow as I will be posting a new episode of my Video Corner series. Enjoy!
Now that good ol’ Willy Shakespeare is rolling in his grave, let me make my point..
Today I would like to make a quick announcement to make all of my readers aware of a change that will be happening on my blog starting next week. On Monday, my Language Lab lessons will be discontinuing the Chinese audio portions that accompany the written text in each lesson…instead I will be uploading video files of myself speaking Mandarin to help you with acquiring the language! I have always wanted to star in my own TV show after-all! This project could very well expand to encompass other aspects of my blog, so stay tuned for further developments and enjoy the video(I know the quality isn’t great but I will have help with the recording next time!)
…Almost! I just wanted to take a minute to remind everyone to check back in tomorrow for Lesson one, which deals with introductions. Just less than one day’s time from now, you’ll be taking the first step on your way towards speaking Chinese! Oh, and if you were wondering why I have the picture of this rainbow-haired…whatever, it’s because he’s 7-11’s mascot. His name is Open Jiang, and he has his own cartoon and line of action figures! It seemed only appropriate, as I posted about 7 -11 yesterday, and just under 15 hours from now, my FREE Mandarin Chinese Language Lab will be “Open” for business! Bring it on!
I have a couple of articles in the works that I am looking forward to publishing over the next week, including food recommendations, cultural insights and some fun activities in Taipei, as well as an awesome day trip for those of you based out of Taipei. I have to apologize for not posting anything new over the past few days, but don’t get all huffy-puffy! It’s not like I’ve just been sitting around goofing off, playing video games…not the whole time anyway! I have been working diligently on my Free Mandarin course, and I am happy to inform you that as a few moments ago the first five lessons of the program are finished and polished to perfection (or do my ego tells me!)…you be the judge! I will start work on recording all of the audio files tomorrow, so hang in there! Good things come to those who wait!
First of all, I want to apologize for not having a more interesting article for you all tonight, but right now we are in the middle of preparing for a big move, in Mandarin wŏ men zài zhŭn bèi bān jiā
(我們在準備搬家). I have a few articles written up, but I left my laptop (technically my fiancé’s, but I’m not going to split hairs here) at her folks house, and so I don’t have access to them or all of the awesome pictures that I have ready to post. I also want to remind everyone that my Free Mandarin course will be starting in just 26 days! I have already prepared and perfected two lessons for my followers with an additional three lessons (plus a Free Mandarin Primer lesson) planned to be completed very soon. I’m very excited about this and can’t wait to get you all speaking Chinese! That’s all for now, stay tuned for further updates and look for several restaurant reviews and tour destination articles over the next few days. Thanks for reading!
